Speedway Scene is built to collect as little about you as possible. This notice covers the data that may change hands when you read, subscribe, sign in or message us, what we do with it, and how you stay in control.
We ask for the bare minimum, we use it only to run the site and serve you, and we never sell it. The detail below spells that out.
Only what you choose to share: the email you use to subscribe, the name and details tied to an account, and whatever you write in a message to us.
Every request leaves a basic technical trail, such as an IP address, browser and device type, the pages opened, the page you arrived from and a timestamp. We use it to keep the site fast, stable and secure, and to see in the aggregate how it is read.
We rely on a handful of essential cookies for sessions, preferences, forms and security. The Cookie Policy has the full picture.
We do not sell your information and we do not hand it to advertisers to target you. Limited data may go to trusted suppliers who help run the site, to satisfy a valid legal request, or to stop abuse and protect readers.
Only as long as the original purpose needs, or as long as a service you asked for and the law require. After that it is deleted or stripped of anything that identifies you.
We use sensible technical and organisational safeguards against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is ever bulletproof, but we work to protect what we hold.
Unsubscribe from any email with the link inside it, and manage or block cookies from your browser. Depending on where you live, you may be able to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to some uses of it. Ask us through the Contact page.
Speedway Scene is made for a general adult audience and is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We revise this page as the site and the law change. The date at the top marks the latest version, and anything significant will show up here.
